Billing and plans
One plan covers the whole organization and everyone you invite to it. The plans page shows what each includes side by side.
Reading the plan cards
Section titled “Reading the plan cards”Switch between Monthly and Yearly at the top; yearly is billed once a year and the card shows how much cheaper it works out. A currency picker sets the prices you see. Each card lists two things:
- The features included: CSV imports, test and production runs, recipe versioning, standard processes, equipment and amortization, and so on.
- The quotas: how many recipes, ingredients, vendors, purchase orders and seats the plan includes, plus photo storage and, on plans that carry them, AI requests per month.
Seats count members and pending invitations together; see members and roles.
Trial and subscribing
Section titled “Trial and subscribing”Plans with a free trial say so on the card, with the length: press Start your trial and cancel anytime before it ends. Only the organization owner can subscribe. The button opens a secure Stripe checkout, and you are billed in your local currency.
Once the checkout completes, the subscription is active and the whole organization gets the plan’s features immediately.
Managing the subscription
Section titled “Managing the subscription”On Manage organization, the Billing & usage tab shows the current plan, its status and the next renewal date (or the trial’s end). Manage billing opens the billing portal. Everything financial lives there: invoices, the payment method, plan changes and cancellation. Canceling keeps the plan running until the end of the period you paid for.
Changing plan
Section titled “Changing plan”Moving to a bigger plan takes effect the moment you confirm it, and you are invoiced the difference for the days left in the period. The features and the higher quotas are there straight away.
Moving to a smaller plan works the other way round: the switch is scheduled for the end of the period you already paid for, whether that is a month or a year away. Until that date you keep the plan you are on, with everything it includes. The portal shows the date the new plan takes over.
We do not refund the unused part of a period automatically. If you think your case warrants one, contact support.
The same tab shows a Usage panel: one meter per plan quota, so you see how many recipes, ingredients or seats you have used before a limit surprises you. AI requests appear there too, counted for the current month; that meter resets on the 1st.
If the subscription lapses
Section titled “If the subscription lapses”A failed payment shows as Payment issue and you get time to fix the card in the portal. If the subscription ends outright, the organization falls back to the limited plan. Your data stays exactly where it is: ingredients, recipes, history, nothing is deleted. Features outside the limited plan pause until you subscribe again, at which point you pick up where you left off. Resubscribing, like subscribing, is the owner’s call.
